37 Week Getaway

No, there's not a basketball up my shirt but a baby girl getting bigger by the day! I'm officially full term, and the doctor said I was fine to deliver anytime after Saturday, but we hope that she stays in the oven for a few more weeks and lets her body fill out with some chub!

Zums booked a night away at the JW Marriott in Cherry Creek on Saturday night for us, as our last getaway just the two of us pre-baby. It was a beautiful Colorado winter weekend, and we enjoyed alot of fresh air, some fab room service, an in-room movie and plenty of relaxation. Getting in as much sleep as we can before our lives are forever changed!

Work Shower

My co-workers had a baby shower for me this morning, and Baby Graham was showered with some fab gifts, including this zebra-striped set from my friend Cathy. We're becoming more and more prepared by the day.

We had my 36 week appointment yesterday, and Dr. Barenbaum told me that anytime after Saturday I was free to go into labor. Whoa, we don't want her to be that early!

Her home is ready!

The nursery is complete! Now, we just need a little baby to put in it. I've been hearing some stories lately of people being told they were having a baby girl and it turned out to be a little boy. If that's the case, hope he loves pink!

And, though we've not shared her name with anyone, we're giving a little teaser of her initials - ISG!

Baby stuff and more baby stuff

We're promising ourselves to stay on top of all the baby stuff while we have the time and energy, so after the shower Zums has put together the pack 'n' play and new jumperoo. We're going to keep the pack 'n' play in the living room for a few months and the jumperoo will be stored in the basement until Baby Graham is up and at 'em and ready for some jumpin'. The nursery is just about complete, so photos to come very soon!

Shower Time

I felt very blessed today to have such a wonderful shower full of family and friends. This baby is already loved loads, as she received lots and lots of fun and darling things. Now, we just have to get it all unpacked and organized!

Growing and Learning

33 weeks

34 weeks

As you'll see by the belly pics, I'm growing by the weeks, with only 41 days left! We had our birthing class today at Rose Medical, where we'll deliver. It was really good, and we both found the hospital tour to be the most valuable, as we now know where to go and what to expect in each area.

We're scrambling around getting as much last minute stuff done as possible - buying diapers and wipes, breaking out supplies and learning how to use them in advance and finishing up the nursery. We got a dresser for the nursery which will be delivered this week, so we should be just about done with that.

My shower is this coming Saturday, and I'm looking forward to catching up with lots of friends and family there!
