Mt. Falcon Hike
We explored a new trail at Mount , right next to Red Rocks. The map said 3 miles for the loop we chose, though we think it was closer to 4. The kids were little troppers, though Finlay faded the last half hour. And, there were no freak outs when we saw a king snake crossing the trail. The hike was followed by meeting little cousin Cal for some delicious ice cream at Little Man.
Just because BBQ
With the weather being so fab and need a good catch up with some great neighborhood friends, we invited some over for some drinks and fabulous grilled pizza. The kids love when we entertain and having their little friends over.
Veuve Cliquot at Acorn Event
We had the best time at the Veuve Cliquot event at Acorn in the Source on July 17. It was a gorgeous summer evening to be sipping bubbly and listening to fab music from an 80s cover band all night.
Off to Kindergarten
Our local elementary school operates on a year round school of 9 weeks on 3 weeks off. Isla's first day was July 10. She goes all day Tuesday/Thursdays and 1/2 day Friday. She has a fantastic teacher and is an eager learner. We are so lucky that we can walk her up to the school each day in less than 10 minutes. learner and excited to get to school each day.
Happy Birthday America!
We celebrated the 4th of July with a backyard bbq with my parents, the other Fells and Kalyn and Kirk. Weather was perfect, food was delicious and sparklers were as magical as ever!
Beaver Creek Getaway
We took our 4th annual summer getaway to the Westin at Beaver Creek. As the kids get older, everything gets a bit easier and more fun. The weather was warm and sunny, ideal for hours upon hours of pool time, early dinners on the patio and smores around the firepit.
