Finlay turns 3

I was about to type, "Finlay turns 2." We had a couple of early cake and candle celebrations when family were at our house. On his actual birthday we once again rode the Georgetown Railroad Santa Train. It was a magical winter wonderland setting, with a fresh 8 inches of snow on the ground. Following our train ride, we headed to Vail for 2 days of hot tubbing, swimming and celebrating.

Zoo Lights

We love Zoo Lights! We always make sure to go early in December to avoid the crowd craziness and colder nights. We were excited to have the Marrin family join us this year.

Blossoms of Light

We checked out the Blossoms of Light at the Botanic Gardens the first weekend in December. It was such a beautiful night full of beautiful lights.

Giving Thanks

We especially had so much to be thankful for this past Thanksgiving season...Zums' career doing so well, the health and happiness of our children, the blessings of friendship, and having family nearby. We hosted Thanksgiving for the 5th year in a row and had a table full of 18 full hearts and full bellies joining us!

High School Football

Cousin Rhett's team made it to the high school state football championship game. We got to enjoy the semi final game on a beautiful fall day. The kids loved spending time with their cousins. We were also able to celebrate Spencer's birthday while there.

Other Halloween bits

Halloween is not just about Halloween night. We love all the festivities leading up to it: pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, school parties.
