Isla has really started to smile these last few days, and luckily I've had my camera phone on hand when she does. She's 5 weeks old today and growing by the minute!

Super Model
We got the proofs back today from Isla's newborn photo shoot and are elated with the results. Here are a few of our faves. Thank you to Farrah and her amazing, creative work!
The Big 3-0!
Zums has finally entered into the decade of his thirties. We were fortunate to have the Namboothiris here to celebrate with us with a big dinner of Mexican food followed by Zums' favorite carrot cake. I put a big pink bow on Isla and handed her to Zums...we think she's the best present that just keeps on giving!Monday, March 22, 2010
Beautiful spring weather
We've been blessed with warm, sunshiney days in the high 60s lately. We've also been blessed with having our dear friends Sam, Jay and their 4 1/2 month old baby Jackson in town for over a week staying with us. We've been able to get outside for long walks, glasses of wine on the porch and lots of fresh air.
One Month Old
It's hard to believe our little baby is already one month old. She is growing by the day. She's still nursing well, sleeping well and making us smile more than we thought possible!

A birthday and a baby
Yesterday was my 34th birthday. Isla is the best present that I could ever ask for, though Zums threw in a few great gifts for me as well: an iPhone, personal training sessions and a house cleaning gift card. We ventured out to lunch on Saturday with Isla to The Wine Experience, and I enjoyed my first cocktail in about 10 months. Delicious!
