Sonia's Graduation

We headed up to Fort Collins for the day on Saturday for Sonia's graduation. It's hard to believe that she was 3 when I started watching her when I was in college, and now she is graduating from high school! It was a great day with the Nelsons, as always, and it was great to have them meet Isla.

We had an active weekend and were out and about enjoying the nice weather. After getting the lawn aerated and fertilized, we were able to mow it and get all the weeds out. Saturday we headed to Cherry Creek for a wine tasting at The Vineyard Wine Shop. We then hit the mall, where Isla loved facing outward in the Baby Bjorn and looking at everything. Yesterday the weather was fantastic. We enjoyed a long walk, checked out some grills and patio furniture at Lowes and enjoyed some wine on the deck. The landscaping of the backyard kicks off today and we can't wait to have it completed before summer begins!

Isla has been spending alot of time on her Baby Einstein ocean playmat. She's become aware of her hands and the ability to grab objects.

11 weeks old

Terribly mismatched outfit, but darling nonetheless!

Time is flying along, and our little lady was 11 weeks old on Monday. She's becoming so much more alert and interactive. She continues to be super smiley!

Lots of smiles

Isla is a happy happy baby and is always giving us smiles now. I think she knows to turn on the charm when the camera and iPhone come out. Well trained, my daughter!

Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day, and how blessed I am to have little precious Isla in our life. She's full of smiles and giggles lately. She's sleeping like a champ and eating like one too! She loves laying on her playmat and grabbing the rattles.

Kalyn's Wedding Weekend

We journeyed to Holly this weekend for Kalyn and Jeremy's wedding. We can't believe that our little Kalyn Louise is all grown up and married now! We had a great time catching up with everyone and seeing lots of family and friends. Isla was a trooper being passed around to many admirers, being dressed up in frilly outfits and spending lots of time in her carseat traveling about. My brother and his girlfriend Leah flew out from DC for the wedding and got to meet Isla for the first time. Can't believe our little lady is turning 10 weeks tomorrow!
