2014, let's go!

We're back in the swing of things after a very festive holiday season!  Isla was excited to get back to school after a 2 weeks break.  We were excited to get back on a health kick after a month of parties, entertaining and indulging.  Seems like this month is already flying by and we're doing out best to make the best of every day!

New Years Eve

We feel so lucky to have neighbors that we enjoy spending time with.  We hosted New Years Eve and enjoyed catching up on everyone's holiday adventures and ringing in 2014!

Christmas Take 2

Grandma Boody and Papa, along with the Uhlands, came up a few days after Christmas so that we could do it all over again.  Isla loved all of her dress up outfits.  We enjoyed a day at Wildlife Experience as well.

Holiday Cheer with the Hammeses

We were happy to have Kalyn, Chelsey, Nick and Zach joining up for an evening after Christmas.  It was the first time we had seen Zach and Chels since they're engagement, so we had to open some bubbly to celebrate.  They asked Isla and Finlay to be flower girl and ring bearer, so we can't wait til they're wedding in January 2015!

Christmas Morning

We felt so blessed on Christmas morning!  Santa brought both of the kids bikes which they loved.  We spent all day in our jammies, enjoying being a family of four, our new gifts, and fabulous food and wine all day!

Breakfast with Santa

We had breakfast with Santa at Wildlife Experience on Christmas Eve morning.  It was a long line to meet the big guy, but it was well worth the wait!

Christmas Eve

We had a very special Christmas Eve grabbing some bubbly and apps at Wine Experience followed by dinner and gingerbread man decorating at the Pfalmers.  The kids had a great time at Aunty Bran's house with all the kids in their jammies.

Early Christmas with Uncle Bubba and Aunty Leah

We got to have an early Christmas celebration with Harrison and Leah before they headed to Connecticut for the holidays.  The kids loved their new books and clothes.  And, they happily put on a little performance of Christmas songs for them.

Becky comes to visit!

We were so happy to have Becky here for a few days before she headed home to Nebraska for Christmas.  Always great to catch up with the best of friends!

Isla's Christmas Program

Isla was a glammed up Mary in her pre-school's Christmas program.  They did a darling nativity scene as well as a few festive songs.  She was a bright little performer with a big smile on her face!
